Many have asked how the new website calendar function works. Here’s a brief rundown:

1. Click on Calendar in the menu across the top of any page. The default tag is set for “Calendar” which lists association and community events. These are the only items that will show up on the calendar until you add additional tags.
2. Click on the Show Tag Menu on the right side of the page about halfway down. This will bring up a list of all Hockey Teams, Figure skating divisions and other entities of the calendar.
3. Select the tags that are of interest to you (i.e. Girls U12 and Peewee B’s). Notice that special events like “Skills” and “Open Hockey” have their own set of tags.
4. Click on Hide Tag Menu on the right side of the screen. Now your calendar will show all events that are scheduled for the tags selected.
5. You can now change the format on how you view this calendar by selecting the “Calendar View”, “Month List View” or “Day View” tabs at the top of the calendar. You can also scroll forward or back a month with the arrows to the right and left of the month name.
6. To see what is scheduled in our facility on a daily basis turn on all the tags in the pull down menu.
7. A tag named "Open Ice" has been added to see available ice slots as of the last schedule update. Scheduling for these slots will be done in the same manner that it is currently handled by calling the ice scheduler to reserve these openings.
