Mini Mite Clinic
July 2 to 6, 2012 - 3 - 4 pm (for 2006-2007 birth year skaters)

The Mini Mite Clinic is for students ages 4 and 5. Students in this program MUST BE ABLE TO SKATE the length of the ice on their own. It is not designed as a learn to skate program.
The program will focus mainly on basic skating technique within a fun environment. Skills taught will include starting, stopping, striding and turning. Drill progression is slow and specific with continuous instructor feedback.
The session is run by on staff K-4 teacher and is a blend of fun and games with serious skating instruction. Depending on the spread of abilities of the skaters we would anticipate sessions of group instruction but also break out groups of 2 or 3 skaters of similar abilities working with an instructor on specific skills.
This session will be capped at 24 skaters to assure a 3:1 student instructor ratio for personalized attention.
