Ice Masters 25th Annual 3 on 3 Tournament
March 17-19, 2023

Our 25th Annual Ice Masters Classic 3 on 3 Tournament will be back in 2023 with a new Event Coordinator and event team! This fast paced and competitive half ice game is a fun change to your traditional hockey game. This is our 25th YEAR and it is the largest and longest running 3 on 3 tournament you can find! Join us with the over 5,700 previous participants of this one of a kind event. This year we will again target 80-85 teams for the largest 3 on 3 tournament anywhere.

Brackets and teams will no longer be by USA Hockey levels, but will be by BIRTH YEAR only.  Move-ups are allowed and you must skate at the level of the oldest skater on your team.  We believe this will strengthen the level of competition within each age group.  

The deadline for registration is March 1, 2023. However, each of the previous tournaments filled quickly, and we are anticipating a full tournament again this year. Submission prior to the deadline DOES NOT GUARANTEE you will be in the tournament. Registration applications are processed in the order received. Submit your registration early to assure your spot and confirm with an email that your registration has been sent and received.

Registration Update 2/2/23: We have had a lot of registrations come in this week! We are so looking forward to a fun, successful 3 on 3 tournament in March! At this time all team registrations have been capped and closed. We are now on a waitlist only for team registrations. To enter the waitlist please e-mail the tournament coordinators- e-mail and contacts are below. Goalie Registration remains OPEN! We are still seeking goalies in the 2012, 2013 and 2014/2015 divisions. Please register ASAP if you intend to participate as we are nearing capacity. 

The game is an amazingly fast half ice game similar to half court basketball. Upon change of possession, the puck must be cleared outside the blue line with all offensive players touching up prior to becoming involved in the play. The goalies compete as individuals and stay extremely busy. Our record to date is a U12 goalie facing 62 shots during the three six-minute periods.

All teams are guaranteed 3 games, with the possibility of playing 5, 6, or even 7 games in this modified double elimination format. Individual medals are awarded to teams for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place goalies in each division. 

Additional information along with complete tournament rules will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration form. We encourage online registration as it will immediately get you on the prioritized list for acceptance into the tournament.
