2019-20 Online Registration

Learn To Play  This is an introductory program for children ages 2-6 that have little skating experience. These new players are instructed on skating fundamentals and introduced to the game of hockey with fun and engaging practices. Skaters are on the ice one session per week with nothing scheduled for holiday weekends.

  • Skaters ages 2-6 that are new to skating and hockey
  • On-ice sessions focus on age appropriate skill development and fun small area games
  • Typically skate on Wednesday evening  starting  the first Saturday of November and concluding the last weekend in February.

 

U6 Program  This is a program for players ages 6 and under that have some skating experience. Skaters are on the ice  at least once each week at the  ERRA. 

  • Skaters ages 6 and under with some experience
  • Typically one practice each week with cross ice games and small area played during practice.
  • Focus is on having fun and age appropriate skills.
  • Season begins second week of October and concludes last weekend in February.

 

U8 Program (also known as Red, White, and Blue Level Hockey)  This program is for skaters ages 8 and under. There are three levels (Red, White, and Blue) within the program allowing for us to provide an appropriate skill-level experience for all skaters. Skaters are on the ice 1-2 times per week at the ERRA

  • Skaters ages 7-8 with little experience to several years of experience being placed on an appropriate team.
  • Practices are typically twice per week with half ice games and goaltenders being played at local rinks on various weekends.
  • U8 Group usually plays up to 4 half-ice Jamborees per season.
  • Focus is on having  fun, skills and team building
  • Season begins the second week in October and concludes the last weekend in February.

 

U10 (Squirt)  This level is generally for skaters ages 9-10 that have successfully completed the U8 Program and have qualified for participation at the U10 level. Tryouts are conducted at the beginning of the season to determine player placement on the A or B team when numbers necessitate the need for multiple teams. The number of practices and games each week can vary but generally include two weeknight practices at the ERRA and one to two games on weekends.

  • Skaters ages 9-10 (2009 and 2010 birth years)
  • Focus on skills and team concepts, and having fun.
  • Practices begin the second week of October and the season runs through the first week in March
  • Games will be played on weekends.  Due to our proximity to our organizations travels is necessary in order to fill the schedule.  Our scheduler will do the best he/she can in order to avoid traveling on both days of the same weekend.
  • There is one home tournament scheduled for February 21-23, 2020.
  • There will be one away tournament with the location and date TBD by the coaches and parents.

 

U12 (Pee Wee)  This level is generally for skaters ages 11-12 that have successfully completed the U10 program and have qualified for participation at the U12 level. Tryouts are conducted at the beginning of the season to determine player placement on the A or B team when numbers necessitate the need for multiple teams. The number of practices and games each week can vary but generally include two weeknight practices at ERRA with 2-4 games over the weekend.

  • Skaters ages 11-12 (2007 and 2008 birth years)
  • Practices begin the second week of October and will run through the first week in March
  • Games will be played on weekends.  Due to our proximity to our organizations travels is necessary in order to fill the schedule.  Our scheduler will do the best he/she can in order to avoid traveling on both days of the same weekend.
  • Focus is on continued skills and team concepts, small area games, and preparing skaters for higher level of competition - all the while having fun on the ice!
  • There is one home tournament scheduled for February 28-March 1, 2020.
  • There will be one away tournament with the location and date TBD by the coaches and parents.

 

U14 (Bantam) – This level is for skaters ages 13-14 that have successfully completed the U12 program and have qualified for the U14 level.   

  • Skaters ages 13-14 (2005 and 2006 birth years)
  • Season begins the first week of October runs through the first second in March
  • U14 is more competition with the introduction to checking within the game concept.  
  • Focus is on preparing skaters for play at the High School level

We now have two registrations set up.  One is for all returning skaters and the other for "first year" skaters and all kids with a "2013 birth year or younger."

Please choose the registration that applies to your child.  In some instances a family might have to register twice.
