2025 Summer Hockey School Powered by Wisconsin Windigo / Final Year Promises Big Energy!
We're gearing up for its annual Summer Hockey School, powered for the final year by the Wisconsin Windigo. With some weeks already at capacity, this year’s camp is shaping up to be one of the most impactful yet, thanks in part to a stellar coaching lineup and exciting opportunities for youth and high school players.
Leading the charge is Wisconsin Windigo Head Coach John Mitchell, who was just named the North American Hockey League’s Head Coach of the Year. Mitchell, along with Robertson Cup Midwest playoff champions Logan Nickolaus, Braydon Beahm, and Beau Kralovec, will be joined by junior hockey staff from the Wisconsin Woodsmen and Wausau Cyclones, as well as collegiate athletes Anna Faulkner and Nicola Forth.
"Last year, we saw incredible growth in players from day one to the last skate," said Mitchell. "This year we’re focused on sharpening everything: shooting, passing, conditioning, hockey IQ, and situational awareness"
NEW THIS YEAR: Girls 12U/14U skaters are getting their own dedicated week (July 14–18), with a staff focused on skill development, competitive drive and fun. Four girls will have the chance to attend for free, thanks to the Girls in the Game Scholarship, funded by local supporters Ken and Lynne Nimmer, who believe in the growing future of girls hockey.
"Girls hockey is taking off," said a member of the coaching staff. "We’re proud to create a space for younger athletes to train hard, grow their skills, and feel seen and supported in the game."
SPECIAL DISCOUNTS: ERRA is also offering a 40% discount on the $795 registration fee for high school aged skaters, bringing the price to $435. This discount is available to any Pines high school skater, including those skating with the Pines Girls Co-op. Two high school players will also be invited to attend the Wisconsin Windigo tryout camp in Brookfield this fall (a rare opportunity to break into junior level hockey).
