Figure Skating Registration

Welcome to the 2024/25 ERRA Figure Skating Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign-up for participation, and submit payment. Both the ERRA ice fees and ERFSC lesson fees are combined in Crossbar registration.

Payment can be made in full or with the designated payment plan offered by the ERRA. Payment is due in full by December 1st if utilizing the payment plan option.

*If you are unable to register on-line, we will offer an in-person registration night in September as well as a Parent Meeting.  All new figure skating parents are required to attend.  This meeting will cover important season information, give you an opportunity to ask questions and rent skates (free of charge) for the season if they are needed.  Returning ERFSC parents are welcome to attend the meeting as well.

Lessons are on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights

There is also ice on Friday nights for additional practice or private lessons

Dress Code

What is appropriate skate attire? How can I be prepared?

Ice is cold; therefore, the rink will be cold. The best way to dress for ice skating, as any other winter sport, is in thin layers. Perhaps the most important item to mention is how to keep feet warm. DON’T wear extra socks inside the skate! This will squeeze the toes and only make them colder. Also remember to wear mittens or stretchy gloves. The most appropriate attire you can wear of course is skating apparel. It is designed for the sport in a way that street clothes are not. Please wear gloves or mittens - no hands inside sleeves.

Lessons

When do lessons take place?

Lessons are on Sunday and Tuesday nights.

There is also ice on Friday nights for additional practice or private lessons.

Friday night open skate is from 6pm-9pm for ERFSC members only (associate members 7pm-9pm); no family or friends are authorized to skate with his/or her ERFSC skater during this time. This time is a great opportunity for skaters to take advantage of private lessons and additional practice. Please check the ERRA schedule/calendar at https://www.erra.com/schedule for location of Friday night open skates (Cube or Dome), or cancellations due to other events at the rink(s).

Silver Blades Ice Show

The ERFSC produces an ice show every spring in which all the skaters may participate in. An Ice Show fee of $40.00 is required from Snow Plow Sam skaters and additional fees apply to Intermediate and Senior skaters for feature number costumes. The 2025 Silver Blades Ice Show is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th and 13th (times TBD).

ERFSC Handbook

Stay tuned! The ERFSC handbook is currently being updated for the 2024-2025 Season.
